Dear Jordan,

I was happy to hear from you and now I am writing to tell you something about the selective courses that we took when we were in Senior Grade Two.

The school provided many selective courses for us to choose from. In my case, I chose Photography and Badminton. The reason why I chose Photography is that I liked taking photos and that I wanted to learn how to take good pictures. In fact I learned a lot in this course and have begun to take better pictures now, two of which were awarded by the school last term. I took badminton class mainly because it was an easy form of exercise, which would benefit my physical health a lot. The badminton course taught me the basic skills as well as the rules of this game and I believe that I will be a better player with more practice. In a word, the selective courses have added to the enjoyment of our school life.
