比如:am, is, are , do, did, can, to, of 等虚词通常不可能是关键词,而名词、动词、副词通常为关键词。 We kites and butterflies in spring. We can fly kites, We can catch butterflies .
Where are Tim and his friends? Tim and his friends are at the beach.
Mary is sick, Mother takes her to the doctor. Mother says: “Mary, Let’s go to the doctor for a check.” “Doctor?” says Mary, “I’m not sick, Why do I need to see the doctor?” The doctor gives Mary a shot, It does not hurt at all. Mary takes a shot, It does not hurt much.试题中:not hurt at all与 not hurt much不相符,所以错误。
Tim and his friend in the sea.

ln the animal kingdom, weakness can bring about aggression in other animals. This sometimes happens with humans also. But I have found that my weakness brings out the kindness in people.I see it every day when people hold doors for me, pour cream into my coffee, or help me to put on my coat. And I have discovered that it makes them happy. From my wheelchair experience, I see the best in people, but sometimes I feel sad because those who appear independent miss the kindness I see daily. They don’t get to see this soft side of others.Often, we try every way possible to avoid showing our weakness, which includes a lot of pretending. But only when we stop pretending we’re brave or strong do we allow people to show the kindness that’s in them.
Last month, when I was driving home on a busy highway, I began to feel unwell and drove more slowly than usual.People behind me began to get impatient and angry, with some speeding up alongside me, horning (按喇叭) or even shouting at me.At that moment,I decided to do something I had never done in twentyfour years of driving.I put on the car flashlights and drove on at a really low speed.
No more angry shouts and no more horns!
When I put on my flashlights, I was saying to the other drivers, “I have a problem here.I am weak and doing the best I can.” And everyone understood.Several times, I saw drivers who wanted to pas s.They couldn’t get aro und me because of the stream of passing traffic. But instead of getting impatient and angry, they waited, knowing the driver in front of them was in some way weak.
Sometimes situations call for us to act strong and brave even when we don’t feel that way.But those are few and far between.More often, it would be better if we don’t pretend we feel strong when we feel weak or pretend that we’re brave when we’re scared.

“Oh, my gosh!” Papa said, clapping a hand to his forehead. “I’ve been so stupid! I just thought she’d want to be a champion swimmer because she’s so good at it.”

Papa put his head in his hands.

Sister’s face lit up like a Christmas tree. “Yippee!” she cried.

Sister ran to Papa and jumped into his arms. She gave him a big hug. “I’m going to go p lay cards with Lizzy!” she said. “See you later!”[
From the kitchen window, Mama and Papa watched their daughter run down the sunny road toward Lizzy’s house.

“If?” Mama prompted him.
“Oh, right,” said Papa. “If she wants to.”

I like reading very much.
What are you going to do on the weekend?

What is language for? Some people seem to think it's for practicing grammar rules and learning lists of words? The longer the lists, the better. That’s wrong. Language is for the exchange of ideas and information. It’s meaningless knowing all about a language if you can’t use it freely. Many students I have met know hundreds of grammar rules, but they can't speak correctly or fluently (流利地). They are afraid of making mistakes. One shouldn’t be afraid of making mistakes when speaking a foreign language. Native speakers make mistakes and break rules, too. Bernard Shaw once wrote, “Foreigners often speak English too correctly.’’ But the mistakes that native speakers make are different from those that Chinese students make. They’re English mistakes in the English language. And if enough native speakers break a rule, it is no longer a rule. What used to be wrong becom/#es right. People not only make history, they make language. But a people (民族) can only make its own language. It can’t make another people’s language. So Chinese students of English should pay attention to grammar, but they shouldn’t overdo it. They should put com/#munication first.[小

When asked about the secret to their success, the boyish Ella said, "The not-so-pretty faces and not-so- expensive dresses keep us close to our fans. We are happy to be the girls next door, your singing sisters."

Selina, Hebe and Ella --now: “regarded as the most popular pop group”,但是接下来,however转折为2000年的情形,“when they ··· in 2000, none of them even dreamed of being a superstar···”,可知是今日和昔日的对比小学五年级英语阅读理解题及答案解析小学五年级英语阅读理解题及答案解析。选A.
2.第一段第三行“However, when they entered a singing com/#petition in Taiwan in 2000, none of them even dreamed of being a superstar”从这句推敲,2000年参加比赛时,他们没期待能出名,但事实上他们是这次比赛中结识,之后组队、出名的。
When asked about the secret to their success·····keep us close to our fans。选A。
A选项,夸大了文意,第五段确实提到“The not-so-pretty faces and not-so-expensive dresses·····”注意是not-so-pretty,并不是A中的认为他们三个 not pretty,(而且原文这句话是Ella自谦的说法)。
Hebe, the youngest of the three··,不是Ella,C中有错误.

One
You must have been troubled by when to say "I love you" because it is one of the greatest puzzles in our life.
What if you say it first and your partner doesn’ t love you back? or if they do say. it but you don’t feel they mean it? Being the first to declare your love can be nerver racking(紧张)and risky and can leave you feeling as vulnerable as a turtle with no shell. But is the person who says it first really in a position of weakness? Doesn’ t it pay to hold back, play it cool and wait until the other half has shown their hand fast?
A really good relationship should be about being fair and being equal," says psychologist Sidney Crown. "But love is seldom equal. " All. relationships go through power struggles but, he says, if a love imbalance continues for years, the rot will set in. "That feeling of ’ I’ ve always loved you more’ may be subverted(颠覆,破坏) for a time, but it never goes away completely and it often emerges in squabbling(大声争吵). " In love, at least, the silent, withholding type is not always the most powerful. "The strongest one in a relationship is often the person who feels confident enough to talk about their feelings," says ecational psychologist Ingrid Collins. Psychosexual therapist Paula Hall agrees. "The one with the upper hand is often the person who takes the initiative. In fact, the person who says ’ I love you’ first may also be the one who says ’ I’ m bored with you’ first. " Hall believes that much depends on how "I love you" is said and the motivation of the person saying it. "Is it said when they’ re drunk? Is it said. before their partner files off on holiday, and what it really means is ’ Please don’ t be unfaithful to me’ ? By saying ’ I love you’, they really saying’ Do you love me?’ If so, wouldn’t it just be more honest to say mat.Collins agrees that intention is everything. "It’s not what is said, but how it’ s said. What it comes down to is the sincerity of the speaker.”
