③ 初中英语分级阅读教学的实践探索
“分级阅读是指按不同年龄段少年儿童身心发展的特点和认知思维水平，根据语言学习规律而选择确定阶梯式系列读物，以推动和促进青少年阅读能力、思维品质、情感态度和价值观的发展，使他们在体验阅读过程和乐趣的同时学会阅读方法，提高阅读效率。” （2017，王蔷）
2019年初带着学生开展英语分级阅读，从最初的简单导读，到尝试师生议读，再到精彩多样的读后分享，这个过程中成长的不仅仅是学生，参与课题研究的老师也在不断尝试、思考、总结中成熟起来，慢慢形成了一些适用于本校学生的经验。
一、创设良好的外围条件
分级阅读的核心目标是让学生们在读书的过程中掌握相应的方法、提高阅读能力，实现这一目标的前提条件是良好的外围条件。通过实践，我们总结出以下四个重要的先决条件：
1.确定固定共读时间
在学生对全英文桥梁书没有阅读体验进而产生阅读兴趣之前，前期的引导非常重要。开展分级阅读的初期，部分学生还不能完全做到自觉自主阅读，所以我们每周约定一个固定的时间，约30-40分钟，师生一起共读。这样不仅能保障学生有一定的阅读频率和阅读量，而且有助于学生后期养成好的阅读习惯。
2.指定专属共读空间
人创造环境，同样环境也创造人。浮躁、急功近利的心境不适合阅读。为了让学生暂时抛开一切作业和情绪，静下心来读读书，我们指定了专门的阅读空间。让学生们走出教室，仅带着指定书目在学校一楼大厅的学科空间进行阅读。学科空间没有教室那样的课桌椅，放有10张小长桌，更像一间真正意义上的书吧，而且环境也相对封闭，这里成为了我们阅读的专属空间。
3.成立阅读小组
阅读小组是一种不可忽视的人文环境，其主要作用是营造积极的阅读氛围。本着“教师引领、同伴互补互助”的原则，根据学生的英语水平、本人意愿、特长及性格特点等将同一班级的学生分成整体实力相当的几个6人小组，进行“捆绑式共读”。实践发现：同伴的影响是巨大的。 同龄人之间有自己的语言，他们用自己的方式进行沟通、交流与互相帮助，有时甚至比教师的生硬说教更有意义。
4.选择适合的书目
分级阅读标准的主要功能是将读者的阅读水平和读物特征进行匹配，帮助教师选择适合学生发展的阅读材料。太难懂或太浅显的材料都不利于学生坚持长期阅读习惯的养成。所谓适合的材料是指阅读材料中的语言知识、背景知识、篇章结构、呈现形式等要素要符合学生总体的认知发展水平和语言发展水平。综合考虑我校学生的整体情况后，我们为八年级学生选择了黑布林丛书初一第1辑的六本书。
二、提供有力的阅读指导
确定书目后，根据读前、读中和读后这几个不同阶段，进行阅读指导所采用的方法和意义也所不同。
1.读前导读
开始真正阅读一本书前，课题组的老师们集体讨论如何去做这本书的导读。导读不仅要把书的写作背景、作者和书的结构等相关资料信息提炼介绍给学生，更要激发学生的兴趣。我们将导读称为“撩书”。“撩”表示用手去挑拨火堆，让火变得更旺。通过“撩书”让学生对这本书产生更多兴趣。如《渔夫和他的灵魂》的导读，以渔夫为中心，呈现他在不同时期遇到的不同人物，让学生猜他们的身份，预测渔夫和他们之间发生的故事。这让学生兴趣大增，迫不及待想走进这本书。
分级阅读系列丛书的封面、封底、扉页及文中都附有精美的图片，我们平时最常用的导读就是带着学生一起观察图片，不断抛出问题引导他们思考、预测书本内容，进而关注内容的走向和情节发展，最终完成阅读，形成自己的阅读经验。
2.读中推进
“推进”是指对事物的运动状态施加影响，使其继续朝一定的方向前进。根据我校学生的阅读节奏，一本书大约需要3-4个固定时间读完，前后近一个月的周期。学生的兴趣可能会随着时间的推移慢慢消退，所以，采取一些措施来维持学生的兴奋点很有必要。
最简单的方式是根据阅读内容给出几个信息判断题来检测学生的读，了解不同层次学生的阅读进度后，取中间值作为本次阅读的任务量，提醒未达到的同学抽时间赶上。但这种方式的弊端是学生是被动的。
如何变主动为被动呢？推进课也可以赏读课的形式进行：与学生交流这书里有哪些值得欣赏的地方，如《彼得潘》中Wendy开始想念妈妈的章节。或者选取书中的某个片段进行层层剥笋似的探究性阅读；还可以选择某个学生感兴趣的矛盾点展开辩论，如Peter和Wendy对于“是否长大”发生分歧时，你站在哪一边？为什么？遇到生动的对话可以开展分角色朗读或表演，如Peter和Huck正面交锋的片段。这些都会推动学生进一步阅读并积极思考。
3.读后分享
书读完之后，师生可以一起来议论、畅谈、分享观点。读后分享课的教学模式类似于开放的小论坛，允许学生各说各话，互相补充互相指正，谈话内容可以聚焦主题，也可以聚焦作品语言，还可以聚焦人物的性格特征或变化。如：你如何评价《赤诚之心》中的Blue Feather这个人物？把《寻找安乐窝》中Penny在学校、在家的状况和你自己作对比，有哪些相同和不同之处？如果你是Penny，你会如何解决面临的这些问题？
当学生表达的观点与正确的价值观不符时，教师不必急于打断，应尊重其表达的权利。先将问题抛给其他学生，让他们争论，互相矫正，最后再从一个成熟阅读者的角度平等地表达自己的观点，以保护学生参与分享的积极性。
三、开展多样的成果汇报
成果汇报即读完一本书后对这次阅读体验做一个总结，学生可以自主选择以什么样的形式。形式多样不仅是让学生不轻易厌倦，更多的是可以满足不同层次学生的需求。语言能力最弱的学生可以上交最简单的reading log, 只记录每次读书的起始时间、页码和读到的新词等；喜欢画画和设计的学生多选择制作reading poster, 画出故事主要人物和情节，配以简单的文字解释；逻辑思维较强的学生制作清晰的mind map, 提炼出故事梗概总结作者观点；语言功底强喜爱表达的学生可以尝试写一写reading report、reflection paper或rewrite；爱好表演的学生也可以将故事或其中的某些片段改编成剧本后，在学校每年的英语节或者社团汇报展演的舞台上一显身手。
天赋等于热爱，最初的热爱往往是做某件事时被激励的感觉。所以在学生达到较高的阅读素养前，激励比惩罚更重要。每完成一本书的阅读，教师都会对学生的各项作品包括阅读日志、笔记、报告、分享等作一个评比、评奖、展出，在每月的公众号上进行宣传，各班老师还会在班级群、自己的朋友圈、QQ日志或说说上对这些学生的作品和视频进行宣传和表扬。被肯定的学生会感受到极大鼓舞，其他学生也会被触动。
