摘要：

中学生英语水平的提高有赖于学生阅读水平的提高。阅读作为语言学习的重要模式，在新教改之后的教学中格外重要。本文对英语教师“教”的现状和学生“学”的现状进行了分析。以学生为中心，从建设教学环境和设计教师任务出发，建立互动的教学模式，对于激发学生学习英语的热情和提高英语阅读能力，进而提高学生的英语水平，发挥着重要作用。

一、以学生为本的阅读方式

英语文章的阅读分为三个层次：第一层次是阅读的前期准备;第二层次是阅读过程中的情况;第三是阅读后的任务。前期准备包括对文章背景知识的了解，对文章主旨的猜测及推理。阅读中需要把握文章的关键信息，如类比句式、排比句式、双重否定句式。阅读后要对所阅读的信息进行梳理与分析，形成阅读框架，对得出的结论进行佐证，进而达到对文章整理的把握。教师在教学过程中是组织者、实施者和参与者。以学生为本的教学方式就是要转换传统师生之间的角色，让学生积极参与课堂教学。在阅读的过程中充分发挥学生在阅读前的筹备作用、阅读中的主导作用和阅读后的自我管理作用。只有在教师的引导下，才能更好地激发学生阅读的热情，进而提高学生阅读的能力。学生在参与中体验教师的角色，能够激发学生对阅读外内容的延伸，促进学生英语水平的提高，符合新课标对现代教学设定的以人为本的标准。

二、阅读所需的外部环境
