Chapter 1 The Newspaper
在教室里，辛苦且漫长的一天，克兰博老师看上去很累。
“马基”她摇着她的头说道，“你一整天都没听我说。我应该给你惩罚……但我有个更好的主意”
噢，不！我讨厌她说她有更好的主意。
“我要你下个月去帮助学校报社。”她说。
“报社！”我抱怨着。
我可能会有多的风趣的故事，但是我真的不擅长其他任何事情，我在报社有什么用？
在报社工作意味着和Tilly Turner 一起工作。
Tilly是编辑，也是记者而且和我不同。她擅长于任何事情。
“那啥，Magee，”你认为我们下一周应该放哪一种类型的故事？“
Tilly 问我，当我们走到报社房间。
我耸了耸肩。
我从没读过报纸。
“目前为止我们有关于宠物的，关于新教师，还有一些关于Cramble老师的布谷鸟钟收藏品的故事。”她继续说道。
“真的？”我说。
我从没读过报纸，这是毫无疑问的。
就在此时，我看见有一些东西进入了我的视线。
这看起来是Brad BIggens 偷偷溜进了办公室
“你看见了那个吗？”我向Tilly低声说道并示意她安静。
她看上去很茫然。
“你还称自己是记者，”我说道，拉着她和我一起绕着了一处建筑物。
“看，”我低声耳语道，当Brad手里拿着点东西在他手上且出来的时候。
他迅速把东西放在自己的衬衫下，并跑向大门。
在我们能看见更多东西之前，他跳上他的自行车并且骑着它溜走了。
Chapter 2 Good Headline
“这儿是有一个故事。”我对Tilly说道。
“我现在能见得头条新闻了：糟糕的Brad在办公室偷东西！”
TIlly盯着我摇了摇她的头，“我并不认可，Magee。现在，我需要一些关于饼干制作比赛的有益的东西。”
“饼干制作者拿了第一名，”我叫道。
Tilly眨了眨她的双眸。
“跟我来，Tilly，”我说道，“如果我们没有有趣的故事，我们至少会有一些好的头条新闻。”
到了周五下午，我开始喜欢工作于报社。我想出许多头条新闻，尽管Tilly说我们真的不得不有故事。
当Tilly飞奔进报社房间时，我正在写一个故事。“我刚再次看见他！”她叫道。
“谁？”现在换成我看上去茫然了。
“Brad Biggens，”她说道。“你是对的，他有带上一些东西。快，带上照相机，让我们出发。”

Chapter 3 Following The Story【跟随着故事走】
当我们跑到室外并且绕过图书馆的拐角，我们看见Brad走向后面的栅栏。
他正携带他的校服夹克，但里面有一些东西看上去奇怪且沉重。
Tilly和我都停下了脚步。我们能看见一些东西在上面。
没有说一句话，我们再次返回角落，并悄悄看着他。
我把照相机拿出来并拍下一些照片当他把他的夹克推到学校广场后的树篱里。
“看上去他丢了一些他应该捡起的东西。”我低声说。
“让我们去看看那是什么。”当Brad在校门口消失了的时候，Tilly说。
当我们去到树篱，Tilly弯下腰推开一些树叶。那里有Brad 的夹克，里面藏着两个学校办公室的笔记本电脑。
Chapter 4 SNAPPED！
当天黑之后，Brad返回捡起电脑。
当他察觉到我们在他身后时，他正在弯下腰去拿在树篱底下的夹克。
在我的相机拍下他的时候他正转过来看着我们。
在我的一生中我从未见到任何人看上去这样惊恐-特别是Cramble老师带着俩警员做出黑暗的地方时。
Tilly带着她的录音机向前冲过去。
“Brad Biggens，你有什么想说的吗？”
“我被陷害了！”他尖叫着，当警员带走他的时候。
“我并不认同！”Tilly叫道。“我们有你今天下午在这里藏笔记本的照片.”
在我的下一张照片，一束光照亮了Brad罪恶的脸庞。
当我在周一走进课堂的时候，Cramble老师拿着报纸。
“很棒的头条新闻。”她说道，给我一个有趣的微笑。
我想她指的是：“Brad带走了笔记本电脑，警察带走了Brad。”
