Studies serve for delight, for ornament, and for ability. Their chief use for delight is in privateness and retiring; for ornament, is in discourse; and for ability, is in the judgment and disposition of business. For expert men can execute, and perhaps judge of particulars, one by one; but the general counsels, and the plots and marshalling of affairs, come best from those that are learned. To spend too much time in studies is sloth; to use them too much for ornament, is affectation; to make judgment wholly by their rules, is the humor of a scholar. They perfect nature, and are perfected by experience: for natural abilities are like natural plants, that need pruning by study; and studies themselves do give forth directions too much at large, except they be bounded in by experience. Crafty men condemn studies, simple men admire them, and wise men use them; for they teach not their own use; but that is a wisdom without them, and above them, won by observation. Read not to contradict and confute; nor to believe and take for granted; nor to find talk and discourse; but to weigh and consider. Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested; that is, some books are to be read only in parts; others to be read, but not curiously; and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention. Some books also may be read by deputy, and extracts made of them by others; but that would be only in the less important arguments, and the meaner sort of books, else distilled books are like common distilled waters, flashy things.
Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man. And therefore, if a man write little, he had need have a great memory; if he confer little, he had need have a present wit: and if he read little, he had need have much cunning, to seem to know that he doth not. Histories make men wise; poets witty; the mathematics subtle; natural philosophy deep; moral grave; logic and rhetoric able to contend. Abeunt studia in mores [Studies pass into and influence manners]. Nay, there is no stond or impediment in the wit but may be wrought out by fit studies; like as diseases of the body may have appropriate exercises. Bowling is good for the stone and reins; shooting for the lungs and breast; gentle walking for the stomach; riding for the head; and the like. So if a man's wit be wandering, let him study the mathematics; for in demonstrations, if his wit be called away never so little, he must begin again. If his wit be not apt to distinguish or find differences, let him study the schoolmen; for they are cymini sectores [splitters of hairs]（(吹毛求疵之人)）. If he be not apt to beat over matters, and to call up one thing to prove and illustrate another, let him study the lawyers' cases. So every defect of the mind may have a special receipt.
谈读书
读书足以怡情，足以傅彩，足以长才。其怡情也，最见于独处幽居之时；其傅彩也，最见于高谈阔论之中；其长才也，最见于处世判事之际。练达之士虽能分别处理细事或一一判别枝节，然纵观统筹、全局策划，则舍好学深思者莫属。读书费时过多易惰，文采藻饰太盛则矫，全凭条文断事乃学究故态。读书补天然之不足，经验又补读书之不足，盖天生才干犹如自然花草，读书然后知如何修剪移接；而书中所示，如不以经验范之，则又大而无当。有一技之长者鄙读书，无知者羡读书，唯明智之士用读书，然书并不以用处告人，用书之智不在书中，而在书外，全凭观察得之。读书时不可存心诘难作者，不可尽信书上所言，亦不可只为寻章摘句，而应推敲细思。书有可浅尝者，有可吞食者，少数则须咀嚼消化。换言之，有只须读其部分者，有只须大体涉猎者，少数则须全读，读时须全神贯注，孜孜不倦。书亦可请人代读，取其所作摘要，但只限题材较次或价值不高者，否则书经提炼犹如水经蒸馏，淡而无味矣。
读书使人充实，讨论使人机智，笔记使人准确。因此不常做笔记者须记忆特强，不常讨论者须天生聪颖，不常读书者须欺世有术，始能无知而显有知。读史使人明智，读诗使人灵秀，数学使人周密，科学使人深刻，伦理学使人庄重，逻辑修辞之学使人善辨：凡有所学，皆成性格。人之才智但有滞碍，无不可读适当之书使之顺畅，一如身体百病，皆可借相宜之运动除之。滚球利睾肾，射箭利胸肺，漫步利肠胃，骑术利头脑，诸如此类。如智力不集中，可令读数学，盖演算须全神贯注，稍有分散即须重演；如不能辨异，可令读经院哲学，盖是辈皆吹毛求疵之人；如不善求同，不善以一物阐证另一物，可令读律师之案卷。如此头脑中凡有缺陷，皆有特药可医。

回来后，妈妈没有打我，也没骂我。只是说：以后学英语要先听，会了后再读，然后，再记，最后再背。妈妈总结出了听、读、记、背这四个方面，只要把它们掌握了，不会的单词就统统的记在脑子里。

上一次，我又忘记复习了。到了星期二我才知道要复习，星期三就要上课了，这可怎么办？我连课内作业都没有写完，而且这次可是要把整本书都背好！我也没有办法，只好先把课内作业做完，还好星期三只有半天课，我赶紧回家拼命背书，争取全部背下来。
星期三的英语课时，我考试只写出了一些，时间到了就被交上去了，可是英语王老师让我们考到九十分以上呀！如果没有及格，老师也要发到学习群的。试卷发下来了，我果然没有九十分，不过，我虽然没有达到标准，老师也没有说什么。
其实学英语，在现在看来，我也收获了不少，我以前不敢开口，现在已经敢了，单词认识的更多了，接下来这次的作业，我们班级每人满分。英语已经学了这么久，我还是要坚持学下去吧！

今天，妈妈带着我兴高彩烈地去乔登美语学校学英语。
来到乔登美语这里的小朋友可真多呀！有的小朋友在玩木马，有的小朋友在忙着报名，还有的小朋友在朝教室走去。我和妈妈来到前台报了名，妈妈把我送进教室就和爸爸逛街去了。
我坐下来之后，仔细观察了一下新的学习环境，发现教室里的墙贴满了五颜六色的画，好看极了！教室边的角落上放着各种各样的玩具。
“零零零，零零零”教室角上的上课铃声响起来了，不同小学的小学生在同一间教室里学习，不一会就进入了学习状态，这时候窗外车声，行人说话声已经对我们没有影响了，我们专心地听着老师讲课。
这里的教学方法和其它学校的教学方法不同，这里的.教学方法是：边玩游戏边学习。比如，我们学会了几个单词老师就把那几张单词放在地上两个小朋友去比赛，老师说什么，参加比赛的小朋友就要准确的从那几张单词中拿出什么来并且要大声的读出来。
虽然以前没有学过这种方法，但是我非常喜欢这种在快乐的游戏中学习知识的方法。

所以后来也会感慨，我们在学英语的时候，确实欠缺了很多的东西，随着时间的发展，我们在这样的习惯上慢慢的演示下来，而曾经一区的那些漏洞就会越来越大。
但是不管怎样，现在随着全球化的发展，英语的学习显得更加重要，我们现在必须要更好地学习英语，更迅速地掌握学英语的方法，才是最主要的一件事情。

上午爸爸和妈妈带着我拿回家的迪期尼学英语的入场券，将我带到指定的地点：毓秀宾馆三楼听英语讲座。这是我第一次学习练习说英语，心里很着急自己不会说，但念又想：我已经是二年级的学生了，要给自己自信才能学好英语。于是，我不再害怕，离开爸爸妈妈，在一旁辅导老师教了几遍关于钦料的英语。不一会儿，我就做为小嘉宾在台上用游戏表演我的所学。一上台，一位辅导老师就用英语不停地唤醒另一位辅导老师，然后就用欢快的英语进入主题，每人想得到自己的饮料，必须说对饮料的单词，而且说完后并用英语说致谢语，再互相对碰一下。我非常想得到一瓶饮料说对了“I like"
一瓶绿茶被我得到了，但最终绿茶没能在我的手中，又被其它小朋友说对了，轮到另外一个小朋友手中。原来这是做为演示用的。连爸爸妈妈也参加了互动，与我们一起比拼谁会说会认，还与我们一起做简单的英语边唱边跳，看着妈妈有点害羞的样子，小小的我给予她鼓励的眼神，终于，妈妈同样也自信起来，而且做得非常不错。

有一天放学回家，妈妈催我赶快点读当天的课程，我没有照做。于是，爸爸让我翻开课本读一读，我根本读不出来，大部分单词都不会，爸爸也着急了。正好要放寒假了，我决心把英语赶上去。每天，我早晨起来后就一遍一遍地点读课文，然后背单词，最后达到熟读课文的水平。经过几天的努力，终于把一个单元的内容学会了，有时候累得真想哭呀！就这样，我坚持每一个上午的英语学习，不到一个月，就把一个学期的内容都学会了。
第二学期开始了，我明显能够跟上老师的进度了，每天坚持点读、背诵课文。一共进行了三次考试，我从第十一名逐渐提升到了第三名，老师还专门让我向全班同学介绍学习经验。
一年级结束后，我被分到了精品班，现在我每次课堂听写、读书、背诵都很熟练，我也真正地喜欢上了英语。俗话说：“世上无难事，只怕有心人”。只要能够坚持，就一定能学好英语。

我的英语学的很不好，英语考试成绩一直不理想，放暑假的时候妈妈给我找了一个英语班。虽然我很不情愿，但我还是去了。
在第一节课上，老师给我们制定了一整套学习方案。每天回家默写单词，听复读机读英语，让家长监督。刚开始的时候我很勤快，每天回到家里背单词，练口语。可有一天，我玩得很累，吃过晚饭就想睡觉，这时妈妈走过来问我：“小月，今天怎么没听到你读英语呢？”我哀求妈妈说：“今天我很累了，能不能不读了。”妈妈说：“做任何事情都要持之以恒，这样才能有一个好结果呀！”听了这话，我虽然很累，还是坚持把这一天的课程复习了一遍。
我们的英语老师课讲得很生动，我慢慢地对学英语产生了浓厚的兴趣。我每天都能够按时默写单词，听英语磁带，再也不用妈妈费心了。几个月过去了，我的英语成绩提高得很快，每次考试都在90分以上。这都是我一直以来勤奋练习的结果。

每个周日的早上我都得去学英语。我总是快快乐乐地过去，悲伤地回来。为什么呢？
唉，英语作业可多着哩！除了学校作业，英语作业大概是最多的作业了吧！
英语作业有抄写、背单词、app作业、练习册。抄写要抄无数个单词与句子，就连中文翻译也要一字不差地抄写。背单词要背二十个词组。app作业最令人头疼：录音要录好几模块，每个都有好几页，一个单词也不能说错；阅读要读好多个单词；“磨耳朵”最可恨，也分为好几个模块，内容少的只用听十来分钟，内容多的一个模块需要一个多小时。还有练习册，得写上四页呢！
只要一有空，我就会做英语作业。睡前本该看书的时间都用来录音了，连刷牙洗澡时也在听“磨耳朵”！单词那么难记，还要报听写！那些单词有的长得很相近的、有一词多解的、有复数、有过去式和过去完成时......我的脑袋都要变大了。那些作业这么多，想想都怕，而且老师还会经常给出很多中文句子，让我们翻译成英文。
我经常因为英语作业周末不能出去玩，这是一件多么令人悲哀的事啊！
学好英语、巩固英语是要付出这般代价的，虽然很辛苦，但是我还是在坚持。那是因为我觉得英文很重要，作为一个国际化的语言，出国旅游我如果都能听懂外国人在讲什么，是不是很爽？如果我能与妹妹用英语沟通，别人却都听不懂，是不是也很有趣？

学好英语并不难，找到方法就简单。
对于看似复杂、易忘、难理解的英语语法、单词、课文等知识，找到合适而又巧妙易懂的方法去记忆很重要。
比如，学习单词时，可以不断地回想有哪些单词与它意思相近或相同，再联想到与之相关的短语、语法。这样不仅可以拓宽记忆的范围，还可以起到复习巩固的作用。对于背单词，可以根据读音划分音节再记忆，这样既能正确的朗读，又能很好的背诵。学习语法时，死记硬背是不可取的，因为这样只能暂时记忆而不能长期记忆。首先找几个相关的例句仔细琢磨，划分好句子的结构，理解性记忆。背诵短语课文时，首先要明白他的汉语意思，根据意思背诵会简单得多。
一些有趣的记忆方法也能很快的帮助记忆。如：family这个单词，每一个字母对应着一个单词f—father a—and m—mother i—i l—love y—you，这样这个单词就变得生动极了，仿佛一幅温馨的画面就在眼前，这个单词就永远记住了！
学习好英语还要有好的学习习惯，上课做好笔记，课下对照笔记把内容仔细的梳理消化一遍。平时还可以通过阅读英文报、欣赏英文电影、观看英语新闻、收听英语广播、听英语歌曲等方法来不断提高学习英语的能力。锻炼口语能力还要多说，敢于开口说英语，加强英语交际能力。
总而言之，就是要找到好方法，养成好习惯，善于总结，用合适的方法巧学英语。

我从小就很好奇英语是什么？上了小学我就明白英语原来是一种语言。到了三年级，英语越来越难了，不再像一、二年级那样只是读和背，而且还要会写。妈妈给我报了一个学英语的兴趣班。
兴趣班的名字叫树童英语，英文名简写是STL，我从1B开始学，现在学到3B，在这几年里，令我印象最深刻的那节课就是2A的汇报课。
第一个环节是老师请爸爸或妈妈上台用小棒点屏幕上的单词，点哪个，我就读哪个单词，考考我的单词拼读能力，我读对了5个。第二个环节是读课文，每个同学轮着抽签，抽到哪课就读哪课，我抽到了第3课我们的老师，我读得很快，读完后老师指出我的错误，说我读错了两个单词。第三个环节是老师和我们一起玩了一个游戏，用单词造句，老师说一个单词，我们就把句子写在自己的本子上，游戏规则是不可以看别人的，游戏开始了，老师说出一个我们没有学过的单词，大家都听不懂，老师只好用一些搞笑的动作来表达，我们看了以后，哈哈大笑，大家很快猜出来了，连忙在自己的本子上写句子。最后一个环节，就是颁奖环节，在2A这个学期里，我被评为“进步之星”。
树童英语不但可以让我学到许多知识，还可以让我感受更多学英语的乐趣。
学英语作文 篇22
前两天，无意中点开了一个英语音乐视频：《迪斯尼后妈茶话会》。
几乎就只是那几分钟的时间，立马被里面几位角色的气场歌喉，以及那认真却搞笑地辩解所圈粉。
后来看了评论，发现这视频最近真的是火得不行，上千万的播放量，上千条的评语，几乎都被这视频中的英语发音，乐曲还有扮演角色的逼真所折服。
网友们的眼睛真的是雪亮的，他们能发现很多我初时没有察觉到的细节，同时也分析着这些角色在不同剧情中的原形，评价着她们应有的性格在这个简短的视频中那些微妙的表情，动作等等。
在这些解析中，我一遍遍中打开视频，看着这些惟妙惟肖的人物，听着她们优美的发音，跟着音乐的旋律打起了节拍， 同时居然也萌生了想学着一起唱的想法。
就在这个时候，我发现居然有不少关于这首歌的教学视频，女生自然是不用说了，毕竟角色就是女性，但我居然也看到了一位大一的男生在线教学，那音色以及英语发音真的很优秀。
我跟着其中一位女老师学了几句，发现有些发音真的和自己以前发音很不一样，同时明白为什么自己的英语发音那样平淡无奇，原来有些卷舌之类的，真的练习不够。看到很多网友说自己学得舌头都跟着打结了，实在是有趣。
这个英语视频又激发了我练口语的热情，希望自己能把它学会。
