爸爸妈妈长年工作在荒郊野外，条件很艰苦，我们石油娃也不如城市孩子那么幸福能到少年官学电脑呀，学画画呀，学体操呀……我成天在野外打玩滚爬，自小与泥巴结下了不解之缘。什么样的泥巴粘性大，我一看颜色便可知道；做多大的玩意儿需要准备多少泥巴，保准差不离。也不知从什么时候起，邻居的几个小伙伴也成了我的难兄难弟。我们常在一起拌泥、备毛胚、做灶、捏锅、造坦克大炮，玩得开心极了，弄得浑身上下、头脸鼻子都是泥巴也全然不顾。有时候玩乐了，什么都忘得一千二净，回家才知道“捕竹炒肉丝”的厉害。
小卧室，是我的天地，也是我的乐园。床下的木匣子里装满了我的“杰作”：有“孙悟空”、“孙悟天”、“孙悟饭”“贝吉塔”……应有尽有。上面用几本书作伪装，可一旦被妈妈发现，后果不堪设想，非弄个“兜底翻天，倾家荡产”不可。
我酷爱卡通人物，每当看少儿节目的时候，我连眼都不眨一下，用心地记下他们的特点，细心琢磨。因此，在几个小伙伴中，捏卡通人物是我的专利，是我最擅长的技艺。
记得有一次，我不知花了多少时间，费了九牛二虎之力，偷偷地完成了特兰克斯这个卡通人物的制作。我上下打量，仔细端详，看那魁梧的身材，健美的肌肉，高昂的头，张大的嘴似乎在呐喊。我沉浸于幸福与满足之中，好像喝醉了酒一样。
第二天放学，小伙伴们嚷着要到我家祝贺又一件“杰作”的诞生。我们一边走，一边切磋技艺，不知不觉便到家了。刚推开门，只见妈妈“愁云”满面，气呼呼冲我瞪了一眼。我知道大势不妙，连忙暗示“散伙”。妈妈二话没说，转身进我的卧室拿出特兰克斯厉声问道：“你什么时候做的？为什么保证不玩又玩？”我吓得浑身直哆嗦，不敢抬头，也不敢回答。我简直不敢相信，我藏得那么秘密，竟然也被发现了。“我要你玩！”妈妈一边骂一边使劲将手中的泥人摔在地上，还咬着牙用力踩了好几下。我心疼得要命，不顾一切地扑过去，捡起摔坏的泥人，冲进卧室，锁上门，伏在床上哭了许久许久，连饭也没吃。
与其说是倔强、任性，不如说是兴趣、爱好。我并没有向妈妈“投降”、“屈服”，只要一有时间，我仍然一如既往地偷偷地玩泥巴。每次小制作展览，不用猜，参展的作品都是泥制品，而且总会得到老师和同学们的啧啧称赞。
玩泥巴，是我的兴趣，也是我的业余爱好，更是我的雕塑家之梦，兴许这梦还能成真呢……
