My university life is interesting and different with before. we do not have to attend class everyday and i live with many classmates in dorm, far away with parents. At first, I got very nervous whenever I have to give my opinion and make a presentation in class, because I had not had such experiences before. In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China』 best engineering schools. During the following undergraate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

The college enrolling exam has always been a furious battle for high school students in China. There are tens of thousands of students attending this exam every year. If you pass, you won a ticket to the college; if you fail, you wasted all of the 3 years hard-working in high school. The high school was hell to me.
