大家都知道「地址」的英文是address，但需要注意的是address有不同的發音:
動詞: ／??dres／
例: How do I address you?: 我該怎麼稱呼您？(這個問法非常正式)
title: 稱呼，如Mr.先生、Ms.小姐、Mrs.女士
名詞: ／??dres／或／??dres／
例：What』s your address?: 你的地址是？
中美地址順序恰相反
中英語地址最大的區別就是順序。
中文地址從大到小寫，國、省、市......而英語地址卻從小到大，從門牌號寫到國家。

英語地址縮寫多
大多數中文地址表達在英文中都能找到對應的詞，需要注意的是在寫地址的時候運用縮寫會讓你的英文看起來更流暢、更地道。

Shorten to: 縮寫（動詞，口語說法）
You can shorten People』s Republic of China to PRC: 「中華人民共和國」可以縮寫為「PRC」
province: 省 (中國、加拿大都用province這個詞）
state: 州 (美國則用state)
In North America, state names are abbreviated using two capital letters: 在北美，各個州都有由兩個大寫字母組成的縮寫，大家可以看上圖學習。
For example, NY for New York and CA for California: 比如，紐約的縮寫就是NY，加州就是CA
In Canada, it works the same way: 在加拿大也是一樣
Ontario: 安大略省，縮寫為ON
British Columbia: 英屬哥倫比亞，所謂為BC
中國特色：直轄市
中國有一個特別的行政單位——直轄市。如果你住在直轄市，比如上海，那在填表時省份一欄該如何填寫呢？Jenny建議大家可以把市的名字寫兩遍，比如省、市都寫Shanghai。另外municipality這個詞也不一定要寫到地址里。
municipality: 直轄市
These fields are required: 這些欄是必填的
Foreigners who see it might think 「The city is so nice that they named it twice.」: 老外看你這么填可能會以為，上海這地方太好了，所以省市名都叫上海
You don't need to write "the city of Shanghai" or "Shanghai Municipality". Just "Shanghai" will do: 用不著把city和municipality這些詞都寫到地址里，只要寫Shanghai就夠了
What happens if you're filling out an English form and province is a required field? 如果英語填表，"province"是必填項，直轄市的朋友怎麼填？
Then you just write the name of your municipal city twice: 那這項也寫直轄市的名字

美國也有區，可是他們的區，比如華盛頓特區，跟我們的區概念上不同。

90年代有部很紅的美劇叫做「90210」，90210就是加州比華利山的郵編。郵編(zip code)在美語里的使用頻率很高，比如說一個人住在很好的地段，可以說「Someone has a fancy zip code". 前兩天，希拉里演說的時候也說「We need to improve the lives of people in every zip code."

CA 90210: 加州90210， 就是Beverly Hills比華利山的郵編

In America, the zip code format is the state abbreviation, followed by a 5-digit number: 在美國，郵編的書寫格式是所在州的兩個字母縮寫，然後5位數的數字
Canadian postal codes is the provicne abbreviation, followed by a 6-digit combination ofnumbers and letters:加拿大的郵編是省的縮寫，然後6位的字母加數字
在加拿大，聖誕老人有自己特殊郵編，人們過聖誕的時候可以給聖誕老人寫信，而且還會收到回信哦。

「弄」英語怎麼寫？
其實寫地址時，「弄」可以直接寫成number，縮寫為No.
如果弄後來還有號的話，可以用逗號逗開來寫，比如：
250弄10號用英語寫就是No. 250, 10
Number 250/No. 250: 250 弄
Building 10: (XX弄)10號，如果這個號碼下面只有一棟樓的話可以這么寫
中英文中幾單元幾零幾的表達都是類似的，只要一串數字寫出來，大家基本都能理解。
Room, unit, 還是suite?
Unit 501: 501室，多用於住宅區里的住址
Room 501: 501房，更像是賓館里的房間
Suite: 套房
Suite is mostly used for business addresses: 「Suite」通常出現在辦公地址里
Suites are usually really big and sometimes take up the whole floor: 「Suite「一般都很大，很可能一整層樓都是一個Suite（辦公地址）
小區名字要用英語寫嗎？

Neighborhood: 形容一個更大的街區、范圍，不是地產商開發的小區

Usually, you don't need to write the name of the complex since you』ve written the street name, number and unit number, it』s safe to assume you』ll receive your package: 基本山，不用寫小區名字，因為已經寫了街道名、門牌號......
路名里有東南西北，英語怎麼寫？
中國的路名常常有XX中路，YY西路，ZZ北路這樣的，一般在路名里加上英語方位詞即可:
書寫的格式通常像上圖路牌：Nanjing Rd. (W), 方位用一個字母放在括弧里
但口語里會說：
West Nanjing Road: 南京西路
Middle Huaihai Road: 淮海中路
如果遇到南北，用South, North即可，不用Southern, Northern:
North Zhongshan Road: 中山北路
South Huangpi Road: 黃陂南路
口語用10th floor，書寫用floor 10
Which floor do you live on?: 你住哪層樓？
When you're writing address, the unit number is pretty self-explanatory, e.g. 1001. It's the tenth floor: 寫地址的時候，房間號就一目瞭然了，比如1001，當然是10樓
In spoken English, you would say 「I live on the tenth floor」: 口語里，通常會用序數詞表達樓層數，住在十樓就會說「I live on the tenth floor」
However, when written, 「floor ten」 is more common used: 但書寫中，「floor ten」更常見
