也許的英語表達：perhaps

四、用法：

• perhaps的基本意思是「或許,可能,大概」,表示說話人對數量、質量、價值等大概的估計,常用於對某人〔事〕有疑問或有可能但不肯定的場合,所表示的可能性大致對半。

• perhaps可修飾動態動詞、靜態動詞、系表結構、全句。perhaps在句中位於實義動詞前,助、系、情態動詞之後。perhaps也可用於句首或句尾,用於句首或句末有時可指有禮貌地提出請求或提供幫助等。

• 在口語中,perhapsso的意思是「也許會」;perhapsnot(而不是no)的意思是「也許不會」。
