2. 兩個單詞的詳細區別

finish,complete作為動詞在一起比較時，這兩個詞的一般含義是「做完」、「完成」，有時可以互換使用。然而，有時它們卻有明顯的詞義差別。
finish表示過去某個時候著手做的事已經做完，或者表示對已經做完的事進行精密加工
As soon as he had finished, Jenny told him she wanted to go home.
他一講完，珍妮就告訴他說她想回家。
This machine part needs surface finishing.
這個機械零件需要精密加工。
The writer has finished (or completed) the novel.
但是如果作為讀者說「我已經看完這部小說了」，用英語說卻只能是I have finished the novel. 不過，如果你是文學系的學生，老師布置了任務，要讀完這部小說，那麼又非用complete不可了。
By the end of next year, they will have finished work on the new stadium.
到明年年底，他們將建成這個新體育場。
而complete側重表示做完或完成某工作，特別是一項任務，或者把某工作圓滿結束。如果要用英語表達「這位作家已經寫完那部小說了」，這兩個詞都可以用
