「泥膠」的方法不同我，他用一般方法，但似乎很有信心。果然，他一開始就收獲了一條小魚，總勝過沒有。我呢，忍耐著，一會兒，左邊的桶明顯傾斜了。我得意地想：高級動物和低級動物比，當然是高級的更勝一籌了。我立即順勢一提，哇，一桶小魚，還有蝦，它們冒失了，是不慎「夾」了進去的。
「泥膠」也不甘落後，他那認真的態度像和我挑戰，果然，釣了一條較大的，始終，普通釣法是慎重的。我顧不上那麼多，一發現有「貪魚」，就把魚桿往上使勁一甩。啪，魚線呈拋物線被拽到後面了。我回頭一看，原來是一條小鰻魚，不動了，被拍昏了。終於有魚中了我的「空殼計」。一會兒，桶又重了，有收獲了。
一旁的「泥膠」也釣了不少，但沒蝦，所以也沒我釣得多。我把這些「小東西」集中到一個桶里，倒了些水。可裡面不知怎的，不時有水花濺出來，還有碰撞聲，也許它們在進行一場「海產戰爭」吧。
我的計策得逞，心裡很高興。這個暑假不僅有趣，還學到了東西。
簡評： 縱觀小學寫事的作文中，「趣事」最難寫。難就難在一個「趣」字上，而本文實不失為一篇寫趣事的佳作。首先選材有趣——釣魚，其次釣魚的方法有趣，用普通釣法和作者的新發明釣法一對比就更有趣了，釣魚的過程也寫得有趣。
