表達難點
1.第1句中含有“是……”和“擁有……”兩個動賓結構,如果沿用原結構翻譯,則略顯生硬,故將“擁有幾千年的歷史”用介詞短語with a history of...來表達,使句子結構簡練且符合英語表達習慣。
2.第2句中的定語“能立即暖身和提神的”較長,可用引導的定語從句來表達,“暖身”和“提神”可譯成兩個並列的動賓成分,表達為that instantly warms their bodies and lifts their spirits。
3. 第4句“各地火鍋風格各異,所使用的火鍋原料也不盡相同”,此句的實際意義為—火鍋風格和火鍋原料因地方不同而不同”,英語中“因......而異”有 vary from... to...的表達方式,故此處可表達為hot pot styles and ingredients vary from region to region。
