對沒一個版塊選擇一個關鍵詞，通過這個關鍵詞能夠回想起整個大塊的內容就可以了，同一層次的關鍵詞是同一等級的內容，比如：動物、植物、微生物 ，就屬於同一等級的關鍵詞。動物和石頭就不是同一等級的關鍵詞。
按照思維導圖的作圖要求繪制思維導圖：
1、中心圖：思維導圖的中心圖一定要有「圖」，而不能只是一個圈!
2、主分支：思維導圖的主分枝寫上大版塊的關鍵詞
(2)蘇教版五年級下英語閱讀擴展閱讀：
因為「思維導圖」過於強調「圖像記憶」和「自由發散聯想」而非「理解性記憶」和「結構化思考」。對於抽象思維能力較差的學生，「圖像記憶」的確可以幫助學生提高「把知識記住」的效率，但卻無法加深學生對知識的理解，屬於一種淺層的學習。
另外「自由發散聯想」具有天馬行空，對思維不加控制的特點，更適合用於「頭腦風暴」式的創意活動，而不適合用於學科知識教學。
