The lawyer answered, 「Absolutely.」
「Your dog was loose and stole a roast from me today. You owe me $9.80.」
The lawyer, without a word, wrote the butcher a check for $9.80. The next week, the butcher went to his mailbox to find a bill from the lawyer noting #50 for a consultation.
