C. 1999年的考研英語一真題passage1的第一題A選項以以下的為翻譯，A選項不也

考研英語A段區和B段區沒有區別，考試的試題是一樣，只是最終的分數線，專一般A類考生要高於屬B類考生。對於考研英語而言，有區別的是英語一和英語二。
考研英語一和英語二題型的區別主要有：
1、翻譯，英語一的翻譯是從文章中抽出5個長難句進行翻譯，英語二是選擇一個段落進行翻譯。英語一的翻譯10分，英語二的翻譯15分。
2、大作文，英語一要求160-200單詞，20分；而英語而要求150單詞，15分。
其餘的題型和分數是一樣的。
第一部分是英語知識運用，即我們常說的完型填空，總共10分，20題，每題0.5分。
第二部分是閱讀理解，A部分是傳統閱讀理解，共4篇文章，每篇5道題，共40分。B部分是新題型，5道題共10分。（C部分是翻譯，兩者有區別）
第三部分是寫作。第一題是小作文，應用文寫作，要求100字左右，10分。（第二題是大作文，兩者有區別）

believes是一般現在來時，has convinced是現在完成時源，都是屬於現在時，與你所講的標准並無沖突。不過not only...but also實際使用中也不一定是這樣時態一致的，要看具體情況。例如：He speaks very good English because he not only works in a Brtish company but he actually stayed in the USA for ten years when he was a kid. （他的英文很流利，不僅因為他現在在一家英國公司工作，還因為他小時候實際上在美國呆了十年。）
