It is very cool to possess one credit card as some of them would say, especially in today's increasing e-commerce era, when many things can be purchased via internet, with just several clicks, desirable items will be delivered to your door step in days.
What would parents would say about this phenomenon? it turns out that the opinions are devided.
Some are encouraging students to use credit cards as payment tool, it is convenient, the young chicks dont need to carry cash, which brings safety to them, and money is dirty. (what? money is dirty? no we are not talking morality), the bills (paper) are full of all the nasty germs and all other contaminations which are accumulated and circulated around all walks of life.
While some are criticizing credit cards being used by students, who sometimes buy too many things beyond their abilitty to pay the credit card bills. with cash, you can see how much you spend; but with credit card, people will easily exceed their budget. Only after they receive the credit card bill notification, they are like: what? did I spend so much last month?
It is reported that some students could not pay the bills and the banks took legal action against them, the trouble will go beyond current moment, these students will be denied jobs, loans etc in future e to bad credit records in the banks.
My personal opinon is we can use credit cards as long as we are responsible. I think schools should ecate students how to use credit card wisely, and what consequences they will get if they dont use it properly and wisely.
