英式英語和美式英語的區別：
英語和美語的發音最大的區別之一在它們對渾母音（schwa，音標中的倒寫e，）的處理。英語中，渾母音在單母音中常通發生在一些非重讀的短音a（如about）和短音er（如computer）上。美語中的er很少為渾母音，並有時對短音i（如sentimental,actuality）和u（如wuss），甚至短音的oo（如：hooker）採用了渾母音。（這四個例子在英語中的發音分別為[i], [i], [u:],[u]）渾母音的讀音是不定的，但是聽起來差不多像一個急促的介於「俄」和「啊」的發音。
英語和美語的發音最具代表性的區別是對er的發音的不同。英語中，短音的er是如上所述的渾母音，但長音的er也不過是個拉長了的渾母音，聽起來是一個很誇張的介於「俄」和「啊」的聲音。而美語中，er聽起來怎麼都是個「兒」音（例外是一些俗語中發成渾母音）。 ar：除了輕讀短音（如singular）和者後連母音（如clarity），英語的ar全部清一色的長音[a:]，而美語中，是「阿爾」。事實上，凡是有r在一個音節尾部的時候，美英發音通常都是不一樣的，如tour(英：吐啊，美：吐兒)，tear(英：踢啊，美：踢兒)，pair（英：pe啊，美：pe兒）。甚至在剛才提到的clarity中，英語['kleriti],美語['kle兒r(er)ti]
母音的發音中還有一個比較重要的區別。一是[o]音：短音的o（如often），英語中發音僅僅為一個縮短了的長音o（如or），而美式的短音o聽起來和英語的短音[/\]很像，同時長音o後面如果有r都通常像上一段里說的那樣兒化了，沒有的話（如plausible, applause）就自動變成了一個短音的o的發音。
另外對u，i和其他母音組合的渾母音化，前面提到了一些，其他就*大家自己體會了。 輔音：
英語的輔音和美語的輔音是基本一樣的，但在使用習慣上有些差別。比較重要的也只有以下兩個：
r：字母r簡直是代表了英美兩國的所有差別，到處都是它。在做輔音時，其實差別也就是當r在第一個詞的詞尾，而第二個詞以母音開頭，英語把r完全當作母音處理，而美語會把r連讀當作後面一個詞的開頭母音的輔音，如片語clear animosity，英語會讀成clear|animosity，而美語會讀成clear-ranimosity。
另一個比較明顯的區別是d和t。在一部分非重讀音節中(如paddle，rattle, actuality)，英語會清楚地發音這兩個字母，但在美語中d和t常常會被模糊成一個很難解釋的音，跟其它的語言比較，如果知道西班牙語或者義大利語，它跟短彈音r很接近。
還有一點，history, factory這些詞，大家可能都發現o的發音（是一個渾母音）在很多音標標注中都是打了括弧的。在英國，英語受文言文的影響喜歡省略這個o，而在美國，這個o常常是發了音的。

The difference between American English and British English

There are many different words in the two English. Eg: soccer VS football, rubber VS eraser, cookie VS biscuit…
There are also some other different ways between American and British English. You can hear the Americans speak English with tongue rollings in every word with the letter R, but the British don』t. And in American English, O sometimes sounds like Ah, eg: god sounds like gahd, and so on.

Though the Americans and the British all speak English,the American English is quite different from the standard British English.There are differences in both the pronounciation and the spelling.For example,the Americans pronounce "fast" /f st/ but the British prounounce it /fa:st/.In spelling there is also distinguish between them.The American spell the word "color" whereas the British spell it "colour".Another example is enquire,it is British spelling,and the American spelling of this word is inquire.Also refrigerator in British English and fridge in American.In general,American spelling is more simple than the British.These easier spelling words in American English are all from British originally,but the Americans made it easier to use.The change of the words fully represents the high efficiency and the unconstrained characteristics of the Americans.
It's about half a year since I entered the college, and I find the way of study in college is different from the study in high school. Next I will share my opinions with you.
自從我進入大學已經半年了，我發現大學的學習方式和高中時不一樣的。下面我會和你一起分享我的想法。
Firstly, we're more or less pushed by our teachers to learn to get a great grade at high school. That's to say, it's not initiative. On the contrary, on the college campus, no one would push us to study, except our-self. What's more, at high school, our teachers explained almost every word and text specific, but our new teachers would not explain as detailed as high school teachers.
首先，在高中我們或多或少都是被老師逼著去學習來取得好的成績。也就是說，並不是積極主動的。相反，在大學校園里，沒人會逼我們去學習，除了我們自己。而且，在高中，我們的老師幾乎都是逐字逐句地解釋，但是我們現在的新老師並不像高中老師那樣解釋得那麼詳細。
Secondly, at high school, we're only permitted to study science subject or humanities subject, and we would study extremely hard to get more marks which made us stay up. Worse still, in spare time, we never did some sporting and relaxed ourselves so as to not fall behind in the study. However, in college, we're allowed to learn what we're interested in. Besides, when we're free, we always take part in great variety activities which makes us obtain different ability.
其次，在高中，我們只要學習文科或者理科，為了得高分我們會很努力地學習，甚至經常熬夜。而且，在業余時間，為了不在學習上落後我們從來沒有做一些運動來放鬆自己。然而，在大學里，我們可以學我們感興趣的。此外，當我們有空的時候，我們經常參加各種各樣可以提高能力的活動。
Last but not least, in high school, we aim at being admitted to a famous university. But in college, we are not only study but also to establish a relationship with students to get along well with others.
最後但並非最不重要的，在高中時，我們的目標就是被名牌大學的錄取。但在大學，我們不僅僅要學習還要和學生們建立友好關系，與他人好好相處。
To conclude, although our lifestyle has changed a lot, we still need more self-control and self-awareness in college. We can't only focus our energy on computer games; we should not kill the time. Instead, we had better take advantages of the time to obtain the ability to confront the challenge. Only so, we will become more competitive and we can have a bright future.
最後，雖然我們的生活方式發生了很大的變化，但是在大學里我們需要更多的自我控制和自我意識能力。我們不能只把精力集中在電腦游戲中;我們不應該消磨時間。相反，我們最好好好利用時間來獲取面對挑戰的能力。只有這樣，我們才會變得更有競爭力，才會有一個光明的未來。
