1、確定中心，寫出深意。我們要著於挖掘所寫事件中含有的生活哲理或找出它閃光的地方，反復思考，確定文章的中心思想。即善於從普通的小事中寫出深意來。

2、文章的六要素要交待清楚。一件事情的發生，離不開時間、地點、人物、事情的起因、經過和結果這六方面，即常說的「六要素」，只有交待清楚這幾方面，才能使讀者對所敘述的事，有個清楚、全面的了解。

3、言之有序，條理要清楚。根據所述時間選擇合理的順序來安排材料。一般敘事順敘、倒敘和插敘三種。

4、詳略得當，突出重點。一般事件的材料有主次之分，能體現文章中心的材料是主要材料，這部分要詳寫，次要內容可略寫或不寫，主次分明，給讀者以深刻的印象。

5、要把事情寫具體。能不能把事情寫具體，那就看你是不是善於把事情一層層展開記敘，即把事情分為幾個階段，在這幾個階段中寫出事情的發展變化。這樣，文章的內容才會具體、生動。

6、渲染環境，生動感人。任何事情的發生、發展都離不開環境，抓住環境的特點來寫，會很好的渲染氣氛，表達感情，使文章更加生動感人。
