父母應該培養孩子的獨立性

In our country, the only-one child policy has made more and more parents pay so much attention to their children that they would like to replace their children to do everything, including study, work and even marriage.This notion has given to many problems for children』s grow-ups.Therefore, our parents should learn to help their children to be independent.

在我國，由於計劃生育政策使越來越多的家長更加的重視他們的孩子，以至於他們願意為他們的孩子做任何事情，包括學習，工作，甚至婚姻。這樣的觀念給孩子的成長帶來了許多問題。因此，父母應該幫助孩子獨立。

There are some suggestions given to our parents.For one thing, it is quite important for our parents to realize that their children will grow up and have their own ideas and thoughts as time goes by.Thus, children should be encouraged to make some decisions alone in some matters so that they are able to pursue what they want.And this would also make contribution to solve what we called 「generation gap. 」

這是給父母的一些建議。首先，讓我們的父母認識到隨著時間的流逝他們的孩子會長大而且也會有自己的想法是很重要的。因此，在某些事情上應該鼓勵孩子獨自做出決定，這樣他們才可以追求他們想要的東西。這也將有利於解決我們所謂的「代溝」問題。

For another, our parents should believe that their children have enough ability to deal with their personal matters and differentiate between good and evil.Hence, parents should give some family chores to their children properly because it is a good chance to train them.

另一方面，我們的父母應該相信他們的孩子有足夠的能力來處理他們的個人事務，明辨是非。父母應該給孩子做一些家務因為這是訓練他們的好機會。

Of course, I am not saying that our parents should not help their children when they are getting into trouble, but I contend that our parents should give their children a free hand in some matters to help them to be independent.

當然，我不是說我們的父母不應該在他們的孩子陷入麻煩的時候幫助他們，但我認為，父母應該在某些問題方面給孩子自主決定權來幫助他們獨立

Third,if my childern want to keep his or her own secrets,want to do something and don't want to tell me(I gess every children want to do that),if that thing doesn't make a serious mistake(like break the law),I will allow them to do even if they will fail--at least it's a good experience for them.
Finaly,sometimes being like a kid,have a childlike,imagine what if you are a child,then you will understand your children.

2.My 14th birthday

When my 14th birthday came,I felt not happy anyway. Because my parents didn't pay any attention to it. I thought they were too busy to remember my birthday.
On the night of that day, I got back home and found nobody. I had to do supper for myself. My tears slipped from my eyes. I felt lonely and sad as if I was abondoned by the whole world. Why they were so busy all day? They didn't care me at all!
When I finished my homework,my parents came back. I said nothing but went to my bed. I closed my eyes but in fact I couldn't fall asleep.
Then I heard my mother came in and sat beside me.
"I'm sorry baby...."she said in a low and tiring voice,"I know why you are so unhappy. Sometimes I think I'm not a good mother, but you konw,both I and your fater are busy these days. I opened my eyes ,and found tears shone in my mother's eyes. I forgave them at once.
