除非卷子有寫明用哪些時段進行寫作，不然一般作文（報告、郵件、書信除外）都用過去時、過去完成時等等。
以下幾個要點：
1）盡量多用短句子。寧可用多個短句來使人明白你要說的，也不要寫很長、很長的句子

2）多用形容詞。
3）分段要清楚。標准：小節要目測一寸的空格才開始寫。故事的順序要交代清楚，盡量順暢，不能唐突。
4）第一段是『介紹』。不是指用『Hello
everyone』來開始。這是演講稿的開場白！萬萬不可以用在一般的作文！『介紹』是引讀者入故事的目的而寫的，可以用：形容天氣、作者（或主角）的心情，周圍的情況來開場。例如：

作文要寫得好首先英語小說要多看，多聽，培養語感……
然後才是多寫。
