中午，我感到有些餓了，就帶上錢，到飯館里去吃飯。到了飯館，我對服務員說：「把菜單拿來，我要點菜。」可是她卻站著不動。好像不明白我的意思，我生氣地說：「叫你拿菜單，你為什麼站著不動？」她好像明白了什麼，便走到我面前往桌子上一按，整個桌子上立刻寫滿了菜名。我有些驚奇，但不說話，低頭點幾樣菜，又點了主食，就安安靜靜地等著服務員上菜，不到一分鍾，服務員把飯菜端了上來。可是我一看，又生氣，又吃驚，服務員端上來的菜是五顏六色的小葯丸一般的東西，飯呢？是一粒又一粒珍珠一般的白色小圓球。我生氣地對服務員說：「我點的是菜而不是葯丸！」服務員說：「太太，是這樣的，這些東西不是葯丸，而是食物壓縮丸。」這小丸把食物味道、營養都濃縮在這丸里，就等提菜了。還有這飯，是用人造澱粉製成的。珍珠米，比普通大米有營養。」我一聽，反怒為笑，稱贊了服務員。不一會兒，我覺得有點渴了，就叫服務員說：給我杯橙汁。服務員把橙汁端在我面前時，我再次吃驚：端來的一杯橙汁，竟是一粒橙色的半透明小丸，看著我吃驚的神色，服務員說：「太太，這就是橙汁，不過，它與菜差不多，都是濃縮成小丸。所有飲品都是這樣的。」就這樣，我懷著好奇的心情吃了一頓稀奇的午飯。「呤……..」現實的鬧鈴在催我回去呢！朋友，下次相見，我們再繼續這趟夢幻之旅吧！
